Masdar City wants to ensure that companies operating from this special economic zone can focus on their core business activities. That’s why One-Stop Shop has been developed to handle and facilitate nearly every aspect of the operational side of setting up in – and operating from – the city. As to be expected from a world-class special economic zone, One-Stop Shop provides start-to-finish handling and guidance regarding registration, licensing and government relations services, such as visas and customs, as well as a range of value-added business services.

With One-Stop Shop helping partner companies through the entire process, setting up in Masdar City is a straightforward, quick and efficient process. Registration takes as little as three days and generally not more than seven days, and no more than five steps – mostly handled through One-Stop Shop.

In short, One-Stop Shop provides a single point of contact for companies and acts as their interface with various local government authorities and Masdar City departments.

As well, One-Stop Shop supports registered entities across a range of other set-up and operational issues, including leasing, fit-out, utilities, facilities management and office space solutions. These solutions range from workstations and fitted-out executive offices to core-and-shell office space.

The One-Stop Shop e-Services is a portal for companies operating in Masdar City that provides a convenient medium for them to access many One-Stop Shop services at the click of a computer mouse. The number of services available on this easy-to-use platform is continually expanding and will range from visa processing and online payments to municipal services, permitting and fit-out approvals.
